| How it Works... |
|
|
All Auctions (Featured, Charity, Free, Etc. ) operate
under the following format:
|
| |
1. Pick an auction item that you would like to bid on.
2. Place your bid.
3. You will be directed to pay the bid service/user fee.
4. Once you place your bid, you will be emailed a confirmation.
5. Once the published number of bids is reached the auction ends.
6. If your bid is the LOWEST and UNIQUE bid, you WIN the auction. After winning the auction, you will be directed to pay the winning bid fee. |
| |
Auction Example: Plasma TV, start price $500
Bidder 1 Bids $500
Bidder 2 Bids 500.10
Bidder 3 bids $500
Bidder 4 bids $500.01
Bidder 5 bids $502
Bidder 6 bids $500.10
Bidder 7 Bids $502
All other bidders were above $502
The winner is Bidder #4 at $500.01. Because they are the lowest and unique bid

Each Charity or Non-Profit auction item will have a predetermined amount of
net proceeds donated to that charity at the close of the auction. These
auction bid fees are paid directly to The Bid Shack and are NOT tax
deductible. Charity’s and Non-profits whose vision and values align with
that of the company will be considered to be featured in our Charity Auction
pages.
Free Auctions are auctions open to our members who have
received free bids from the company. Free bids can be awarded through
certain auctions. Those auctions offering free bids will be noted on the
auction page. The free bids auctions operate just like other auctions and
the LOWEST and UNIQUE bid wins.
Please review the user agreement for further details.
Also, please review our FAQ section and feel free to email us with
additional questions or partnership requests.
All items brand new and never used, most shipped directly from manufacturer or retail store.
Thanks and Good Luck with your bidding. |
